Athletics at McMaster is currently managed by the university's student affairs, under their athletics & recreation department. He coached at the college level at Dutchess Community College and SUNY New Paltz. The university's 39 varsity teams compete in the Ontario University Athletics conference of U SPORTS. We foster  the ideas of hard work, discipline, and commitment. Whether coaching inexperienced youth or hall of fame talent, I understand, thanks to Pete, the relentless pursuit of greatness begins with creating optimal conditions for a player's love of the game to shine.

While at Webutuck his team won the Dutchess County Coaches Association Championship and finished in the section final four, four years in a row.
