Once you finally reach the right end of the corridor you'll discover another Save Room, so save your game before heading on. Norfair Most of the lava's fake and you can stand on it, cross the corridor to find the final Energy Tank in the corner, grab it to fill up your energy.
You'll now be in a huge lava cavern, head left and use the flying bugs popping out the pipe to reach Missile RI.11 above in the top-right corner. Save your game in the room beyond before continuing on. Head left to eventually find the last Missile Tank, once you've grabbed it you can finally leave. In Super Metroid, Norfair Ancient Ruins Area plays throughout Ridley's Hideout. In the following long corridor you'll spot a hole in the floor bridged by a platform. Like the rest of Norfair, Ridley's Lair is themed around extreme heat and contained rooms flooded with lava; while the Varia Suit is needed to withstand the high temperature, Samus Aran can only dive and move freely in the lava if she wears the Gravity Suit in Zero Mission. Do the only thing you can do and proceed left through the door on the other side of the room. In the next room you'll discover Missile RI.06 guarded heavily by fireballs bouncing around the room. Check the bosses guide for tips to rip the stinger off this monster and send it packing. Leave this room and cross the series of corridors on the right until you reach a large shaft leading up. Later, Samus found an Unknown Item (later revealed as the Gravity Suit) before encountering and defeating Ridley for the first time in the Metroid series' chronological timeline. With all that new ammo weighing you down, go back to the room with the hole and drop down below. Follow the tunnel down to re-enter Ridley's area. Ridley's Hideout was completely destroyed along with the rest of Zebes at the end of Super Metroid.

Through the door on the right you'll be able to reach a Missile Tank, but you'll need to time your jump over the hole to avoid falling down the shaft, making this one of the hardest Missiles to reach in the game. Zebes Stand on the fourth block from the door (not including the one directly under it), and jump from there to clear the hole and reach the Energy Tank. The Zero Mission remake features a remixed and extended version of Ridley's Chamber. You'll find that Ridley's area is layed out much like the original Metroid, but in the visual department appears similar to Ridley's lair in Super Metroid.
