It is quite a drawn out slog through the rain soaked streets and back alleys of Seattle with many twists, turns and cul-de-sacs. Bought as a gift, my daughter asked for it but sadly I got the WRONG version..Subtitled, so I can't fault the dvd.

"The Killing" is addictive and compelling, Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2015. Watched first episode but the sound quality was poor - that was enough to persuade me to get the original: at least with subtitles you don't have to worry about being able to hear! I try not to say TOO much in these reviews as I accidentally read spoilers in about 99% of them or am told too much for my liking. Seattle homicide detectives Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder are deeply affected by the murders they investigate in this dark, acclaimed crime series. Season 2 finally cleared up the identity of Rosie Larsen's murderer and was darn good, but Season 3 was better when it introduced us to Linden's boyfriend, the cop/serial killer.
